transport orders, B/L instructions or status messages. Regardless of the output format, the data is converted into a format that can be read by the receiving system. If required, the data to be sent is enriched with additional information that cannot be generated or is not available in the sender system. In addition to automated data exchange via an interface, the dbh PortService also offers a web application with numerous functions, evaluations and overviews to support the overall process. There is also the option of further data processing, e.g. in port orders or the VGM-SOLAS report to the shipowner via supplementary modules.

In addition to a web interface, we also offer you the option of connecting directly to dbh via an interface and thus further digitizing your processes. dbh supports all common protocols from AS2 via e-mail and http(s) to SAP, sftp and X.400. In addition, the dbh PortService processes all common message formats such as UN-EDIFACT or INTTRA-EDIFACT, Odette, ANSI, VDA and many more. Thanks to our extensive experience in data conversion and mapping, the technical connection to dbh is child’s play for you and can be achieved with minimal IT effort on your side. You do not need your own converter software, trained personnel or maintenance (on your side). We provide you with our services in dbh’s own ISO/IEC 27001-certified data center, including monitoring, logging and archiving.
