The shipment for the export of your alcoholic beverages, tobacco products or energy products (in particular mineral oil) is assembled and transported.
Manage data conveniently
Your advantage now would be to be able to initiate EMCS handling, i.e. the opening of electronic administrative documents (e-VD), at the touch of a button or even automatically – this is exactly what our SAP interface for EMCS does.
Connection to Advantage Customs
Tailored to your process and adapted to your configuration (e.g. pro forma billing, transport, delivery), the data from SAP systems is transmitted to the ATLAS-certified software of dbh, Advantage Customs, where it is processed according to the specifications. You can determine whether Advantage Customs, as a black box, passes the data directly or whether you want to manually control it and possibly correct it. In any case, all messages and documents are reported back to SAP.
Even if you import new raw materials from abroad and you want them to be in stock shortly, you will be supported in assigning and confirming incoming e-VDs.
Your benefits
- Avoidance of duplicate data entry or maintenance
- Integration into your business processes
- Automated processes in the familiar user environment
Functional scope according to your needs
You decide whether you want to use only manual input, pure message exchange, or a fully automated solution. You determine which SAP document (object) is decisive for the opening of the e-VD, be it a transport, a delivery or a pro forma billing document. The interface maps the object reference to the administrative reference code (the authority’s ARC operation number) from EMCS. All messages and documents can then be linked to this object in the SAP ERP application.
Share information with users
The creation of the e-VD, the processing of status messages and the storage of the documents take place in the background. If you wish, the user will be informed about the SAP user ID, via SAP Express e-mail or by e-mail about the sending of the data and the processing progress.
Shipment overview
The plug-in includes a monitor that provides an overview of all operations and their status. You can select them according to different criteria and display them. The operations are displayed in a summary list with their current status as traffic lights. The date of creation and the date of the last change are mapped separately. You can call up each task and view the documents you have received. Clicking on the processing steps is displayed in detail.
